Whilst we adore your children we ask that children don’t attend the day unless absolutely essential and discussed with us. The reason is that the venues have been selected for their intimate setting and therefore not necassirly child/baby friendly.
It’s also worth noting that the recption venue is a working farm, therefore access to the site isn’t exclusive to the wedding party and there may be people unasscociated with the wedding passing through.

No.

We would love you to show us your best stuff and come smart. There’s nothing casual about a wedding.

You obviously can’t wear white, cream or any of it’s distant cousins. If you don’t want to match with the bridal party stay away from Burnt Oranges and Green. You might be roped into tasks!
Other than that, express yourselves. Naturally the wedding colours will be autumnal but whatever colour makes you shine. Slay queens.

The wedding has been carefully planned to ensure there is weather cover for all parts of the day. The church service will be inside as will the reception.
The reception is located on a beautiful working farm with ample outdoor space allocated for guests to wander, sit and relax in. However, in the event of poor weather the day can go on undisturbed inside.

On the day please refrain from reaching out to the Bride and Groom directly as we’ll be nervous enough!

There is limited parking at the Church but neighbouring car parks a short walk away.
There is ample car parking at the Reception venue. Cars can also be left overnight at your own risk but will need to be collected by 10am the following morning.
The distance between Church and Reception venue is around 10 minutes so carpooling could be an option.
-
For anyone needing a taxi home after the festivities, we have been told these will need to be pre-booked due to the rural location of the Reception venue.
Please see relevant page for more details!
-
Welcome drinks will be provided at the reception. Then a selection of wine, water and soft drinks wil be provided with the meal.
After the meal any further hydration must be self-funded.
-
The reception will end at 23:30. Gate Street have asked that all guests be off the venue by midnight at the very latest.
If staff are required to stay later the wedding incurs an overtime charge (which I will be passing onto the offender(s)).

Firstly, please stick them on silent. Cinema rules apply here.
We’re not the phone police. Everyone wants their own snap immediately for the ‘gram and we respect that, however, we do ask people show some restraint from using their phones and overly photographing the day.
We have paid for a wonderful photographer who will capture the day for us with an expert eye and will be more than happy to snap photographs of people when requested.
Once we receive the official photographs we’ll share with the entire guest list.
